Quality System - Legal Best Practice

Lawyers Real Estate is the first real estate law firm in Victoria to become certified to LAW 9000 and one of the few law firms in Australia to gain certification. (Of the thousands of law firms throughout Australia, less than 300 have achieved certification to LAW 9000.)

Law 9000 is the Legal Best Practice Certification Program launched in June 2004 by SAI-Global (Standards Australia). This highly regarded quality assurance system is based on the internationally recognized standard, ISO 9001 and incorporates a set of best-practice criteria specific to the legal profession.

Certification gives firms an edge through independent recognition of their achievements. Lawyers Real Estate developed and refined its management system, surveyed clients and staff, implemented practice changes, trained staff, measured performance, and regularly reviews and improves its systems. An SAI auditor assessed the Lawyers Real Estate system against internationally recognised good management principles and recommended the firm for certification.

As a result, Lawyers Real Estate is better equipped to develop the concept of "...the new direction in real estate" and to provide consumers with a higher quality service than is available through the outmoded practices on offer from other real estate industry participants.
